Film

I work with Market Road Films, a company founded by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and Emmy-winning director Tony Gerber. I conceive, write and produce documentaries and scripted projects for film and television. My work currently in development includes a scripted series with Undisputed Cinema, and docs about Arctic caribou and Asian immigrant massage workers in New York City’s Chinatown. I also doctor scripts and write killer pitch decks, should you need one.

Some recent highlights include:

Fighting ISIS, a television doc developed from one of my feature articles that I hosted, wrote and helped produce for National Geographic’s award-winning Explorer series. I have also written and doctored scripts for Explorer.

Second Genesis, a short doc I wrote for PBS on the search for life in our solar system. It was nominated for best writing in the 2018 SMASH media awards, and for Best Science in Nature Film, short form, by the Jackson Wild Media Awards in 2019.

Kingdom of the White Wolf, a three-part NatGeo Wild series I wrote and produced on wolves living near the top of the world. I also wrote a feature in National Geographic on my experience with the wolves.
